Introduction
Every vehicle class you rent out online has its own page on your company's website: a headline, a short and a long description, a set of photos and a web address. You write and upload all of that inside the app, on the vehicle class's own screen, and your website picks it up from there. The groups that classes sit in on the website (such as Passenger cars or Vans) have their own small screen with a web address and one picture, which websites usually show as the large banner (the "hero" image) at the top of the category page.
The class screen is headed Asset group: a card with the class's basic details, then a row of tabs. This page covers the Images, Web and Specifics tabs, plus the category screen.
You come here when:
- A new class is going online and its web page is still empty.
- Marketing has sent new photos and wants the best one shown first.
- The website shows the wrong class name in the web address, or an old address needs to send visitors somewhere else.
- You are checking what a class looks like online before a campaign.

How to use
Configuration
There is nothing to switch on first. Two things set elsewhere do change what you see:
- The Specifics tab only asks for details when the class's settings allow it. Each class is linked to a settings profile in its Asset group settings box (on the card at the top of the class screen). If that profile has Vehicle properties set to No, the Specifics tab shows only "No specifics to be added." New profiles start with Vehicle properties on Yes.
- The start of the web address can be set by your administrator in the operational settings, in the web canonical path prefix box on its Web tab. The (operational settings) link on the class's Fixed location tab opens that screen. Leave it empty unless your website builder asks for it.
Before you start: the class screen, the category screen and the photo screens can only be opened with the Company admin role. If Admin is missing from your main menu, or Product design does not open, ask your administrator. The class must already exist (see the vehicle-class page). A new category is made with New above the Asset group categories table.
Using the class and category screens
From the main menu, open Admin, then Product design. On the Product design page, click the Asset groups tile. The table headed Asset groups lists your classes; click a row (or the pencil icon at the end of it) to open the Asset group screen.
1. Upload the photos. On the Images tab (the first tab), drag photos onto Drag and drop files here, or click it to pick files. Pictures only, 1 MB or smaller each. A photo is saved the moment you see Uploaded successfully., even if you later click Cancel on the class screen. Each photo gets an Edit button (step 2) and a Delete button, which removes it straight away.
2. Put the photos in order. Click Change order (web) above the upload box. A table lists each photo with its Weergave volgorde (display order) and a small preview. Click a row or its pencil icon: a window shows the photo with a Title box (a name for your own reference, up to 200 characters) and a Display order box (the lowest number shows first). Display order starts at 0, takes decimals and cannot be left empty — you would see "Required". Click Save; the change is kept at once. The bin icon deletes the photo. Back returns you to the class.
3. Write the texts. Open the Web tab, then its inner Web tab (the other one, Translation, is for other languages). Skim the table once:

4. Fill in the specifics. On the Specifics tab, enter Doors and Passengers (whole numbers, starting at 0) and pick a Fuel policy: Full-Full (the starting value), Full-Empty, Full-Empty-Prepaid or Same-Same.
5. Save. Click Save at the bottom. Texts and specifics are only kept once you do; Cancel discards them, but not the photos. An incomplete translation on the Translation tab blocks saving; see the translations page.
The category and its picture
From Admin → Product design, click the Asset group categories tile. Click a category in the table (or its pencil icon). The screen opens on the Category tab.
1. Check the core details under Core (required): is enabled for web (starts on Yes), name (required, up to 120 characters), Order (whole numbers, lowest first) and Slug (recom.) — the category's part of the web address; without it the name is used.
2. Add the category picture. Under Image (optional), click Image, pick the picture in the small window and click Save; a thumbnail appears. A category holds one picture: to replace it, click the red Delete link, then Image again. Clicking Image saves the category first, so a new category is stored even if you then click Cancel.
3. Save. Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
Key details
Which photos reach the website
The website receives the class's photos sorted by Display order, lowest first, and at most the first five. A photo with a higher number than the fifth is kept in the app but not shown online.
Every new photo starts at 0, so six untouched photos all tie and the website picks five in no fixed order. Number them 1 to 6: photo 1 becomes the main picture and photo 6 is held back. Give photo 6 2.5 and it slots in between 2 and 3, pushing the old photo 5 out.
How the web address is built
The address is built from four parts: the prefix from the operational settings (if any), the category's Slug (recom.), the location's slug, and the class's Slug. Where a slug is empty, the name is used. Everything is put in lower case and spaces become dashes; nothing else changes, so accents or slashes in a name end up in the address. The location is the one on the class's Fixed location tab, or otherwise one of your company's locations.
An example. Prefix huren, category Vans with slug bestelbus, location Utrecht without a slug, and class Ford Transit L2H2 without a slug gives …/huren/bestelbus/utrecht/ford-transit-l2h2. Type transit-12m3 into the class's Slug and it becomes …/huren/bestelbus/utrecht/transit-12m3.
What your website actually shows
Subtitle, Description (short), From price, the photos and the web address are in the catalogue your website reads; whether it also uses Redirect URL, Video url and Description (long) depends on how the website was built. Doors, Passengers and Fuel policy are stored with the class but not sent to the website — ask RentVisie support before counting on them online.

Q&A
Why does a photo disappear the moment I click Delete, and does Cancel bring it back? Photo deletion is immediate, from the Images tab and from the bin icon under Change order (web), and Cancel on the class screen does not undo it. Upload the photo again and give it back its Display order. The category picture's red Delete link works the same way.
Why is a photo I uploaded not on the website? Only the five photos with the lowest Display order are sent. Click Change order (web) and check its number against the others; give it a lower one to move it up.
Why does the upload box refuse my photo? Each photo must be a picture file of 1 MB or less. The box shows "File size exceeds the maximum limit of 1 megabytes." for a larger one. Make the photo smaller and upload it again.
Why does the photo in the Asset groups table differ from the first photo on the website? The small Image column in the Asset groups table shows any one of the class's photos, not necessarily the one with the lowest number. Go by the order under Change order (web), which is what the website uses.
Why does the website address show odd characters or a long name? The class, category or location has no slug, so its name was used — including any characters in it. Fill in Slug on the class's Web tab, Slug (recom.) on the category, or the location's slug, using only lower-case letters, numbers and dashes.
Why will the class not save after I filled in the Web tab? A translation started on the Translation tab under Web has an empty field — for example "Subtitle is empty". Complete that language's texts or remove it with its red Cancelar link, then click Save. See the translations page.
Why does the Specifics tab only say "No specifics to be added."? The class's settings profile has Vehicle properties set to No. Once a profile has been saved with No, the Vehicle properties switch is no longer shown on that profile, so it cannot be switched back there. Ask your administrator to link the class to another profile in Asset group settings, or to create a new one with Add settings.
Why is a new category in the table even though I clicked Cancel? Clicking Image on the category screen saves the category before the upload window opens. Delete it from the Asset group categories table with the bin icon if you did not want it.
