Looking up vehicle data
In practice we noticed that many car rental companies go to the RDW number plate check (RDW is the Dutch vehicle registration authority) or the Finnik number plate check to look up vehicle data. They then import the key details into RentVisie rental software.
This is a cumbersome process and often resulted in many manual errors.
To counter this, we built an integration with the RDW. On our website we created our own number plate check, where the key details are displayed straight away.
Importing vehicle data
Naturally we went a step further straight away, by building an automatic import function into our rental software.
Enter the number plate and we import all the key details. Things like fuel, load space, but also maximum payload and CO2 emissions are retrieved for you. All you have to do is link the vehicle to the right vehicle class.
